SAN ANTONIO: The market statistics for August 2015 were released by the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® (SABOR), and it was another great month for Bexar County. According to the Multiple Listing Service Report from SABOR, which reports on all areas contained within the MLS, August home sales in Bexar County increased 6.5% over 2014 (1,931 sales). Of those 51.2% were homes under $200,000.

Sellers definitely responded to the low inventory reports early this spring and summer. Of the 1,136 homes sold in just the city of San Antonio, existing home sales increased 7.7%(1,093) while new construction homes decreased by 5.2% (only 43).
